Design-Build:
New Production Facility
Owner: Ganflec Corporation
Location: Lower Swatara Township, Pennsylvania
GFPDC furnished
complete design/build services to the Owner for the delivery
of a new single story 108,000 square foot printing and direct
mail facility. This new production facility is built on an 8-acre
parcel in Lower Swatara Township, PA, and is the first installation
to be built within a future industrial park envisioned by the
Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority (SARAA). GFPDC's turn-key
services included complete architecture, interior design, and
engineering services for the project.
 GFPDC also provided
the construction management (CM) services for the project. CM
services included: negotiations with and coordination of all
subcontractors required for the project; performing construction
administration duties; and daily oversight of the construction
activities on the site. GFPDC selected, hired, and coordinated
subcontractors to perform the construction/installation phases
of the job including building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and
automatic temperature controls, fire protection, demolition,
site work, utilities, and landscaping.
