Harrisburg Hospital
Owner: Pinnacle Health Systems
Location: Harrisburg, Pennsylvania
GFPDC furnished the design, permitting, and commissioning services,

for the construction/installation required for the project. Permitting
services included the preparation of permits and drawings for submittal
to and obtaining approvals from the F.A.A., the Pennsylvania State
Aviation Bureau, the City of Harrisburg, and the PA Department
of Health.
The Heliport project consisted of a Helistop and modifications
to an existing Penthouse and one elevator. The Helideck was constructed
of prefabricated aluminum. The mechanical room for the existing
elevator was modified and the controls updated. The existing elevator
was extended upward to service the Helistop. The Penthouse was
also extended upward to house the modified equipment for the dedicated
